SPANISH REVIVAL

While working with Hablinski Architecture in the late 90's, Dee was charged with the full renovation of this 1920's Beverly Hills Spanish Colonial Revival estate.  Working with Finton Construction and interior designer Frank Pennino, architectural detailing and materials choices were given meticulous care and consideration.

No room remained untouched as interior walls were stripped to their studs and a second floor added over the living room for additional bedroom space.  While the living room's original exposed wood trusses were removed to accommodate the second floor addition, they were salvaged and repurposed; becoming the creative inspiration around which the new pool house was designed.  Upgrades included a carved limestone fireplace, Malibu tiles on the exterior, custom wood paneled ceilings and custom wrought iron screens, balconies and railings throughout.
